Diu — a former Portuguese colony, now a Union Territory — is Gujarat's quietest beach getaway. The 265 km drive from Bhavnagar takes about 5 hours via Talaja, Mahuva and Una, with the last 30 minutes crossing the iconic Diu bridge to the island.
It's a weekend favourite for our customers. We do plenty of Friday-evening pickups and Sunday-evening returns. The drive is scenic, the roads are surprisingly good, and Diu's quiet beaches (Nagoa, Ghoghla) are worth every minute.
Diu is also commonly combined with Somnath (~85 km away) for a Friday–Sunday pilgrimage-plus-beach circuit. Our chauffeurs are familiar with the bridge crossing, the inner-island routes, and the better restaurants near the beach.

Yes, Diu is a UT and alcohol is legally sold. This doesn't affect cab bookings in any way — our chauffeurs follow standard safety protocol and won't drive under any circumstances after a customer has consumed alcohol on board (we recommend it stay closed until you reach your hotel).
Most of our customers do 2 nights / 3 days — one full beach day, one Portuguese-fort sightseeing day. For just a weekend, Saturday morning to Sunday evening works well.
